PROGRAM
In order to secure additional advertisers and provide added visibility to consumers, Gourmet wanted to orchestrate a winter-time event. Regatta turned this into a fabulous Super Sunday BBQ bash and viewing party for the big game. The exciting inaugural event featured culinary, sports and music celebrities, game viewing on big screen Sharp televisions, all-you-can-eat Blue Smoke wings, BBQ ribs and more, Grey Goose cocktails and specialty beers. Plus Gourmet’s executive chef, Sara Moulton hosted a "Gourmet Gridiron" cook-off. A live charity halftime auction hosted by players from the NY Giants and Jets drew a multitude of bids from the crowd. In addition to producing and developing the event, Regatta secured other celebrity talent to attend. A charity partner was also brought on board so that proceeds for the ticket sales and auction went to City Harvest, the Woodson/Fabini Football Camp and the Walt Frazier Youth Foundation.
RESULTS
The event sold out and drew hundreds of consumers. New relationships with advertisers were forged and the event garnered several positive press articles. |
