integrated way, you must have an executive team that are experts in all
the ever changing channels of communications. Since our specialty is in
leveraging our clients’ marketing assets to create one-of-a-kind
programs, it is essential that we thoroughly understand ALL the assets
being represented. It
takes professionals with salesmanship - but who also intuitively know
how to structure plans that can be changed as needed in an organic,
smart fashion This ultimately allows all participating brands and
partners to benefit in a meaningful way. Depending on the scope of the
project, we also have to be experts on how to structure and execute
initiatives both nationally and down to a grassroots level. Let's meet the senior executive team: Sam Kaufman has
been active in the marketing and entertainment industries for over 15
years. As a founding partner in Convergence Group, Sam directed
promotions and campaigns for brands including Audi, Bloomingdale's,
Camel, Continental Airlines, General Motors, Gourmet and Oxford Health
Plans. In the entertainment industry, Sam worked as a talent agent,
concert promoter and record producer with clients ranging from Cassandra
Wilson and the San Francisco Jazz Festival to Capitol/EMI Records. His
expertise includes new business development, project direction, event
production, media planning, talent contracting and co-marketing
partnership negotiation. Sam has been racing sailboats since he was five
and spends weekends teaching Wall Street brokers to sail in lower
Manhattan. Chris Griggs has
over ten years of integrated marketing experience. He has worked on
national advertising and promotional campaigns for such brands as
Wendy's Restaurants, Coca-Cola, the US Military, First Brands/STP
Division, Lane Furniture, The London Daily Mirror, USA Hockey, Universal
Studios, RemoteWare Software and Freshen's Yogurt along with regional
marketing efforts with Blockbuster Video, Perkin's Family Restaurants
and Columbia Hospitals. Chris has experience in advertising, promotion
and all channels of integrated communications including direct mail,
interactive media, local/guerilla marketing and public relations. He has
expertise in strategic account planning, account service, new business
development, media and copywriting. Chris enjoys hearing a good sailing
story but has to date limited his aquatic activity to fishing on the
embankment. Cassandra Harris
has over ten years experience working in marketing and communications
with premier brands and celebrities, including IBM, Microsoft, Sony,
Warner Home Video, AOL MovieFone, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones and
Dennis Hopper. She has spent the last five years working for
Golin/Harris International & TSI Communications, a top-10 marketing
firm and part of IPG. Cassandra has led promotional campaigns for AOL
MovieFone including the release of Shakespeare in Love and Batman and
American Moviegoer Awards. She staged events for Warner Home Video
including the Today Showıs Al Roker playing basketball with the cast of
characters from Space Jam to promote its US video release, and a Wall
Street Sport day for Sonyıs launch of MiniDisc products. Prior to
working at agencies, she worked in marketing/ project development and
licensing for Rhino/Atlantic Records. Cassandra enjoys entertaining day
cruises, so long as the sea is calm and there are no clouds in the sky. |
